My dad, Charles D. House, had died nine months earlier. I don't know whether there could be any relation with your Jewell House, but I was intrigued when I saw your posting because Jewell is not a common name. My mom was in show business, mostly as a songwriter. She wrote for Hank Williams, Kitty Wells, Red Sovine, Jim Reeves (nearly all of his early material) and many others. She was beautiful. Black hair, dark eyes, deep olive complexion, electric personality. My dad was a police officer and parttime commercial pilot, flying cropdusters mostly, in the '60s.
