In fact in 1776 the House brothers were split over a petition to form a new state called Transylvania(combining PA and VA). Some of the brothers singed pro others against. The Andrews were on both sides. I suspect there were fathers and sons as there were so many Houses with the same first names. It makes following them hard. Jessie
