Does anyone have information on the birth of Joseph House, allegedly b. 1732. Son of David and Silence (French) House? His son (I'm told) was also Joseph House, b. 1757. Joseph `57 resided in Bennington, VT after the Rev and was there until his death in 1831. So both Josephs may have lived there. But, I found no documents of `32 there. It's possible that Joseph `32 was born in Hanover, MA since the family came from Scituate, MA originally. Joseph `32 was m. to Sage Randall. At least this is the info that came from my grand uncle, Capt. Charles F. House, of Lenox, MA--originally from Milwaukee, WI. Have been searching my little heart out for this 5th gr. grandpa.
