Moses's father, George, was, I believe , son of John Howse (born Rockbourne, Hants, 1631, died Minstead 1664), son of Francis Howse alias Sturton (b.1601, d.1667), son of John Howse alias Sturton, of Rockbourne who died 1610 Incidentally, I have George (Moses's son) as born 1754 at Brockenhurst, and married to Jane Miller.
