Searching for unknown parents of Maud Pearl HOUSE, b. abt. 1874. Maud was adopted when she was abt. 3 yrs. old by Samuel H. & Emeline (Bright) HINDS who were in the Decatur, IA area in the 1880's. Maud's mother said to have died in childbirth and father may have been in the medical field. Unknown why Maud was adopted. Maud HOUSE m. John Samuel BALDEN abt 1894-96. She died 30 Dec. 1915 and is buried in Alden Cemetery, near Carnegie, OK. She died in or shortly after childbirth.
