It seems to me also that they either married cousins or married sisters of the first wife. Also the women didn't live long in some cases. I guess that they were just wore out having so many babies. Also life wasn't easy back then for women anyhow. They never got much rest doing washing on the board and keeping house general. The men had it easy, just going to work and coming home.
