In the Census Transcriptions provided by Ancestry.com many have been transcribed as House when in reality the Enumerator has listed the family as HOWSE. At the end of each Township the Enumerator has written the phrase "Dwellings and Houses" so it is very easy to compare the handwritten word "house" with the actual Census Listings for "House", "Howse", Hawse and so on. I also found several families listed as living in 2 different Townships. This is easily explained as the Enumerator ended 1 Twp and started another on the same sheet of paper. So if the family was at the very beginning or the every end of the Census they *can* be listed as living in 2 different Twps. Ancestry.com has made many errors as far as the transcribed listings for the House/Howes/Howse Families.
