How were you able to find that out? I have a list of her eleven children who lived beyond infancy, if you or anyone is interested. I'd like to hear from any of her descendants, especially regarding any handed-down accounts of her being a granddaughter of a privateer (or pirate) contemporary of LaFitte out of New Orleans in the early 1800's. It would surely help to know more of her House side. My uncle says he remembers an Uncle William House and Aunt Did House, of Scott County in southern Indiana, maybe 70 or 80 years ago. William House must have been Mary T's brother. Ring any bells out there? Also, are any of the Scott County, IN or KY House family member descendants out there redheads?
