He was a sawmill/gristmill owner/operator. His daughter, Catharine married my Thomas J. Owen in 1858 in Lamar Co. Joseph died in 1859, his wife in 1860. Eliza, James, Murza & Joseph are listed on the 1860 Lamar census as living with T.J. & Catharine Owen. The above information is a compilation of land records, census data, a bio on T.J.
