Edwin L. HOUSE, a horse and mule dealer in Kansas City for twenty-four years, died Saturday night at his home, 3442 Holmes Street. He was 64 years old and came here from Lawrence, Kas. Mr. HOUSE was a thirty-second degree Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and of the York Rite, and of Ararat Temple of the Shrine. He is survived by his widow, two sons: Francis E. HOUSE, an attorney of this city, and Edwin House of Los Angeles, and one daughter, Miss Edith M. The address you gave on this mail-list appears to be current but I have not gotten a reply yet to my e-mail query to Lloyd McDaniel. My wife descends from a William HOWZE (b. c1778) and wife Mary L. (b. c1778), whose household I found in the 1820 Wayne Co., MS, and 1830 Perry Co., MS, census. Nothing found before or after, however. Kent
