I've just found out that my Great Grandfather George Houghton, was a cabinet maker (furniture maker) in Birmingham West Midlands in circa 1880, a trade that (apparently) continued down the family line. Can someone assist with a lookup in some trade directoes about that time to see if any listings are available, or if these are availalbe on-line, direct me to their whereabouts? Thanks Paul.
