I believe my ancestor may have been their daughter. Both Mary and Richard appear to have died in 1831...does anyone have any info on them? Thanks! I saw it on ancestry.com. Also connected to an application for a person applying for the SAR. I can get those for you if you are not on ancestry.com. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Charles Vella" <charlesvella@comcast.net> To: <houghton@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, March 04, 2012 11:27 PM Subject: Re: [HOUGHTON] Richard and Mary Houghton > Bill > How did you find Mary's surname, Snook? > > Charlie > > -----Original Message----- > From: houghton-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:houghton-bounces@rootsweb.com] > On Behalf Of William Thomas Dahlberg > Sent: Sunday, March 04, 2012 6:27 PM > To: houghton@rootsweb.com > Subject: [HOUGHTON] Richard and Mary Houghton > > I am looking for anyone who might connect to Richard and Mary (Snook) > Houghton. Bill I found the Snook references on family trees on Ancestry. I have found that Houghton references in these family trees are often loaded with errors, so you have to be careful. I would like to see the SAR application.
