Sept 1891 (Lived on Lowell St. Blackburn, England.) married William Helliwell. Her parents were: Arthur HOUGHTON, b. 1872 and Alice Ann SMITH b. 1872. Her grandparents were: Thomas Houghton and Jane b. 1836, Mellor, Lancashire Her Smith grandparents: William Smith, b. 1843 in Lancashire, Darwen. and Kate (Catherine) b. 1847, Lancashire, Manchester, England. On the HELLIWELL side: William Helliwell's parents: Thomas Helliwell b. 1845, Tormorden, Hebden Bridge, County of York, England, Blackhill-Side, Wadsworth and d. 1890 in Blackburn, the son of Thomas Halliwell and Sally Dewhirst. His mother was Dinah PEARSON b. 1849 in Halifax, County of York, on Smith Stree, England., daughter of Charles Pearson and Ruth Wilkinson. One son of William and Jane Houghton Helliwell was Pearson Peter Helliwell, Sr. b. 1911 in Blackburn who married Lillian M. WILLETT. Any help or direction appreciated.
