Hi - hope you can maybe give us some info. According to the Houghton DNA Database we are related to John Houghton born 4-28-1665, settled. near Princeton, New Jersey. Our family "records" indicate that our John Houghton was the son of Ralph & Jane Houghton who came from Lancaster, England to Massachusetts around 1654, but the Database seems to show that Ralph of Lancaster, MA and John of New jersey are genetically separate, so we don't know which way to look at all of this.
