I would be interested to know if anyone has a Banks Houghton/Haughton in his family tree? I usually see his name spelled Houghton although our name was Haughton. I have found different Banks Houghtons in the Lancashire, England area, but haven't found anyone else who has them in his family tree and I would think there would likely be a connection. Banks and his sons emigrated from Lancashire in 1869 to the southern side of Pittsburgh, PA where they were coal miners.
