Hi Norma.........My paternal gmother was a Houghton from Woolton...............where are your Houghtons from? She had a sister edith and 2 brothers Herbert and Sidney. Her fathers name was Joseph and her mothers name was Ellen (nee Layland) Her father was a stonemason and he died quite young. I found my Gmother on the 1901 Census as a 19 year old and her mother was a widow then with the 4 kids at home.
