I think we have been in contact before. My direct ancestor is Sarah Houghton Miller, who married Carpenter Miller. She was a sister to Esther Jane Houghton Wiley, as well as John Houghton, born 7 Sep 1806 in Union Co., PA. Somewhere I saw that they might have a brother James as well. In the obituary for a daughter of John Houghton, it says that her father was a direct descendant of Col. Jacob Houghton of New Jersey.
