VA in 1756, married Rachel OR Rebecca (Greene) Fairchild in 1784. Our family history lists him as the son of John Hough and Sarah Janney, but I guess they didn't KNOW they had a son Benjamin, OR they disowned him, and somehow managed to erase all trace of him, OR someone MESSED up, and I'm going CRAZY trying to figure it out!
