Dear fellow researchers, I am new to this list and am researching a HOUGH family who were living in Salford U.K. between the mid 1840's and at least 1880. The family was Thomas HOUGH, his wife Ann and three sons that I know of, William b 1838; John b 1841; and Thomas b abt.1847. Thomas had been a barge man and later he is shown in a directory as a coal merchant. Recently, I have seen on a list of people searching the internet for HOUGH in Lancashire U.K.and an Australian e-mail address which, from the brief information given, looked to be someone doing the same family as me but when I tried to send an e.mail the address came back unknown. This is the address <tammyh@one.net.au> does that person subscribe to this list I wonder or can any other Australian member see what might be wrong with the address?
