Peggy - I am not personally connected but having followed most of the Horton lines for what seems like centuries I know some about them from seveal perspectives. The earlies Horton of which I have a record is a Mary Horton married in Berks Co PA which was then Philadelphia County, or administered as such. She was married in 1727 as a Quaker and thus must have been born about 1706 or 7 - maybe. But I know nothing further about her or her connections to any main line group. However, several Horton men came to Philadelphia for Medical training. also the Cleveland surname came into that region from the Long Island Horton group. Donna
