Surnames: Horton Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/BBk.2ACIB/2071 Message Board Post: My gggggrandmother was a Horton born in BoutetortCo., Virginia in the early 1700's her name was Hannah Horton, she married Miles Terry in 1782, they had several children one of which married Cornelius Estep in Pikeville, Kentucky in 1808. So I guess that must mean they had moved to Kentucky from Virginia. If anyone has any information on the Hortons I would love to hear from you. I have plenty info on the Terry's but nothing on the Horton's Helena
