Pat - I checked Bedford Co TN and I had nothing that appeared to relate to your situation. A George Horton shows uo there by about 1859 and he is a younger brother of the James I sent to you earlier. Obviously I have an incomplete file, so anything related to this family that is not already said, would be useful down the road in time, if you care to share and perhaps it will help you, and us, in the future. This is always a work in progress. If there is a male Horton in that branch that could have a DNA test we are in support of and have information about that - but it is a separate project. perry
