Perry, From the DNA study, It appears that we are connected to Hugh through Joseph Horton who died in Granville Co... NC in 1765 , who is also the father of David Horton of Wake co. NC who died in 1784. We have proof through Wills that David of Wake who died in 1784 father was Joseph as Joseph left in his will some property to Samuel , his grandson, who was also the son of David of Wake.
