    1. Re: [HORTON] Re: Many ThanksTo the Hugh Horton Descendants!
    2. Thank you. They have had more practice at it than I have anyway. But seriously, it is working. The feedback I am getting is so refreshing of "I want to help too." In the past few days I am assured of up to about 5-6 people gettin kits or plan to. I am supposed to advise Harold Horton, our Pres., but its like Frank said the other day, we are so busy makin history there has not been time to record it. I only refer them to pelhamdan. He takes it from there. What is more he is getting results. Our thanks continue to flow to him. Dan has commented to the ladies - get your father, your uncle, your nephew, your first cousins, all male Hortons in whatever Horton female line that you happen to be in. And I have no way of knowing in advance who will and who won't get involved. I just talk about the good of it and try to find the right branches where the research will yield the information. The Hugh Horton line is only one - there are others. We are gettin cooperation from New England as well. While we have been coasting along for more than 25 years, many other family surnames have been deeply involved with it. A good example is the HILL surname. More than 100 names are on their charts. The charts are designed to let you click on a number by the name of a donor, and it opens the door to the pedigree chart information. Nice. But we will catch up. But, Dan need a lot more cooperation than he is getting from the members. It would help to send him a direct line chart from the donor, step by step, generation by generation to the last known ancestor. I do not have that information about other donors, except in some rare cases. perry
