To clarify the Hugh Horton descendant rolls: Two existed - one in Virginia (died 1724 Westmoreland Co VA) and another (which may ultimately be known as the same person) estate settled 1736 in Bertie Co., North Carolina. We need (1) correspondence - reference to male Horton descendants, down, from each of the two Hugh Hortons. (2) to promote and provide a channel to the DNA Project leader and (3) genealogists wishing to establish a dialog with the above "connections"; hoping to establish a pedigree trail back to them. For the No.1 purpose, we can work with female Horton descendants as well, regardless of present surnames. Perry Horton
