    3. Again, Thanks! They have been a brick wall for me for eight years now and it is such a relief to finally break it down. I'll gladly share what I have found so far. I have that Daniel was born between 1787 and 1791 in NC. He married Elizabeth (Polly was on their daughter's death certificate and Mary was on the census records) Clark in Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., KY on 15 Feb, 1817. Ancestry has some info that says there was a Daniel Horton in Montgomery Co., MO in the 1830 census and in Madison and Iron Co., MO in the 1840 and 1850 census. The USGENWEB has a census for 1850 Madison Co., MO that has him listed with Mary and 10 others listed. They are Craven A. 25 b. KY, Mary A. 21 b. MO, Danl C. 19 b. MO, Rhoda ( my GG Grandmother) 15 b. MO, Jubus F. 13 b. MO, Jemmima 11 b. MO, Margrette 8 b. MO, Rebeca 6 b. MO, Eliza J. 4 b. KY, and Emily 26 b. KY. I'm not sure that the last two were their kids yet since they were born in KY. I haven't been able to positively find when they died and were buried but they were not on the 1880 census I assume they both died before then. Since most of the family lived and died around Jewett, Madison Co., MO I also assume they are buried there too. Their daughter, Rhoda married John Webb (another brick wall) about 1854 in MO and they had 9 children. They died in 1902 and 1913 respectively and are buried in the Miller (Green's Chapel) Cemetery in Jewett. I have more on this part of the family if anyone is interested. Marilyn Orr
