Floyd My ggrandmother was Harriet Rebecca Horton. I believe she was born around 1849 in Alabama. She married Moses Jackson Pace from Franklin Co. Alabama. I believe she may have had Indian blood, but have no definite proof. I also believe, she may be the daughter of Reece Horton. I say this because he lived in Franklin Co. and had a daughter named Harriet R. b. 1849. My mother never saw her grandmother, Rebecca, but relatives described her as having the appearance of being Native American. I saw your posting and wondered if you might have some information which might help me determine if she was, in fact, Native American. Thanks for any information you might be able to provide.
