They had 8 or 9 children. I think he served in the 23rd Michigan Infantry of the Civil War. An alternative spelling in the Nat'l Archives is Huston. I don't have his or her parents although the name "Starr" is associated with Minerva's family, I think. Have been tryng to pin somethng down. I have a request into the Nat'l Archives for his pension papers--if he applied. Cyla
