    3. Hey Lance, thanks for the reply. Do keep me in mind in your research if you come across anything that connects to my line. I forgot to tell you this, I have a bunch of old tin types and of course don't know who most of them are. There are a couple with names, which are Robert Horton. On the back of one, it says something like from Fannie Horton in Texas, to her brother RR Horton in West Point Ga. (which of course is Troup Co.) I also have a bunch of family from Randolph Co. who were there when the Civil War broke out. On the other side of my family, the Carters and Moncus's. 2 brothers, E.H. Monkus and BJ Monkus were in the Columbus Light Artillery. I haven't figured out where my Carters served; I am working on that. At least 2 of the same family were killed. They were brothers, James, John Thomas, Francis, and Micajah Carter. Good luck, I'll keep a look out for your Hortons, since we are often looking in common places, thanks, Lorenda ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, March 15, 2003 7:47 PM Subject: Re: [HORTON] J.
