She was married to Ernest Hamilton. Not sure of Lena's origins, her parents, or siblings. Lena's mother supposedly died after she was born around 1899. She was raised by Jane Horton of Trinity County, Texas. It is believed that she was either Hispanic, Native American, or of White ethnicity.
