I am glad to see more postings on the Horton Family Line. I signed up and did a DNA over a year ago and found that I didn't match any of the other Horton's. My earliest Horton that I can trace is John Horton of Caswell County, NC. He was born 1770-1775 and is last found on the 1840 Caswell County Census. He married Milly Gilaspy, the daughter of James Gillaspy (Gillaspie) 20 November 1797 in Caswell County. His son James G. Horton, born about 1807, moved to Lincoln County, Mo. prior to 1850. He married Elizabeth Williams 3 November 1826 in Caswell County. I have not been able to connect my Horton line back to any of the earlier Horton lines and was hoping that a connection might be made through the DNA. Any help would be appreciated.
