Floyd My ggrandmother was Harriet Rebecca Horton b. 1850. Her father, I believe, was Reece Horton and they lived in Franklin Co., Alabama. Descriptions given of Harriet, lead me to believe she may have had Indian blood. Do you have any information about this branch of the Hortons that might help determine if she actually is Indian? My grandfather told my mother that the family was Indian and not "Black Dutch" as she had always been told. My grandfather was John Pace.
