Many Hortons moved to that area from Virginia prior to the Revolutionary War, including my ancestors, Must ask about the Brewer name. William Horton, born about 1749 in VA, died about 1834 in SC, married an Elizabeth, and many researchers say she was a Brewer, but with no proof. Do you have any information to enlighten us?
