He was born in Marblehead, MA on 12 Sep 1715. On 30 Sep 1734, he married Rebekah ANDREWS, widow of Edmond Andrews, by whom she had two sons. John and Rebekah were married in Queen Anne's Episcopal Church in Newbury, MA, even though both were listed as "of Marblehead" in the church records. They had one child that I know of -- Sarah, born 12 Jan 1734/5. Some quick arithmetic tells me that young John must have been messing around with the widow Andrews. BTW, I have no idea of Rebekah's ancestry, or even her maiden name.
