My records indicate that William did not have a son named Sanford, that Sanford was his grandson through son Michael (1782-1862), and Susannah Massey (1785-1843). One of 8 children, Sanford (1815-1877), m. Mary Eleanor Blackmon (1814-1856), their children: Louisa Jane (1843); William Jasper (1845); Sanford Newton (1847); Narcissa C. (1849); and, Willie Mae (unkn). (most dates are Abt.) The children you list for Hollis Horton and Molcy Jones agree with my records, except I have Churchwell as Churchill. I hope this helps.
