It certainly clears up my questions, especially since "Bush Davis" is obviously for "Bushrod" and not for a female ancestor whose maiden name was Bush as I thought possible. I see in your first post in this thread that you asked for information about the marriage of James Horsley (Jr) and a Margaret Valentine. Since your post is now 2 years old, you've probably already found my post to several message boards in Jan 2009 that tells what I found about James Jr's wife, and that she was not Margaret Valentine.
