Martin Zornes was born April 28, 1821 in Greenup Co., KY and died 1865 in KY. He married Lucinda Horsley November 28, 1839 in Carter Co., KY. She was born June 18, 1821 in KY and died 1865 in KY, daughter of Unknown Horsley and (unknown). Children of Martin Zornes and Lucinda Horsley: i. 2. Martha Zornes was born January 28, 1841 in KY and died February 25, 1891. ii. 3. Thomas David Zornes was born 1842 in Carter Co., KY ( or October 15, 1848 in Carter Co.,KY). iii. Mary Zornes was born 1844. iv. John Zornes was born 1846 and died Before 1850. v. Elizabeth Zornes was born March 11, 1849 and died May 5, 1853. vi. Rachel Zornes was born January 25, 1852 and died January 16, 1929. vii. Louise Virginia Zornes was born December 13, 1853 and died 1925. viii. James C. Zornes was born July 8, 1857 and died January 27, 1942. ix. George Martin Zornes was born October 21, 1858. x. Robert Anderson Zornes was born September 12, 1861 and died January 28, 1954. xi. She married William B. Sr. Remy (alias "William B. Remy/ Ramey") January 6, 1859 in Carter Co, Ky. He was born July 15, 1833 in Lawrence Co., Kentucky and died in Sebastian Co., AR, son of John Franklin Remy and Rebecca Rachel Black. Children of Martha Zornes and William B. Sr. Remy: i. He married Rachel Mariah McGinnis June 14, 1866 in Carter Co.,KY. She was born October 15, 1848 in Carter Co KY and died August 14, 1871, daughter of Reuben McGinnis and Martha Caroline "Patsy" Black. Children of Thomas David Zornes and Rachel Mariah McGinnis: i. Effie Zornes. 3rd Generation (Grandchildren) 4. Martha Bell Remy was born December 22, 1864 in Olive Hill, Carter Co., KY and died May 23, 1938 in Bloomer, Arkansas. She married Charles Simeon Delaney May 8, 1887 in Sebastian Co., AR. He was born February 12, 1860 in OH and died 1939 in Bloomer, Arkansas, son of Samuel Sears Delaney and Martha Lucinda Roberts. ------------Keep in mind that this is info I have rec'd from other people, and should be used as a guide.
