George Gary 'Geary' Benjamin DAVIS, 1779-1875 & Sarah 'Sallie' FLOYD, 1804-1888, both buried on former DAVIS CROSSROADS land, Davis-Hill Family Cemetery, Burnt Hickory Road, Cobb County, Georgia. Rev. George Gary 'Geary' Benjamin DAVIS, 1799-1875, was born in Union County, South Carolina. His wife, Sarah 'Sallie FLOYD', was daughter of Garland Gallant FLOYD [born South Carolina circa 1768; he died 1867, Hall County, Georgia] and his wife, Nancy ABERCROMBIE [born 1788 Laurens County, SC; she died 1844, Hall County, Georgia]. Ben DAVIS died 17 Nov 1946, age 79, Carroll County, GA, GA Death Certificate 24388; his wife, Lula Laura Exie [known as 'Eura'] HORSLEY died 14 Apr 1955, age 63, GA Death Certificate 07710.
