Horsley, 88, of Chillicothe, Ohio, died 5:15 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born July 10, 1925, in Chillicothe, OH, (Ross County) to the late Edward O. and Anna Belle Detty Burt. On February 14, 1948, she married Robert E. Horsley who died November 15, 1979. Surviving are children, Dianna (Douglas) Terry, of Chillicothe, Dennise L. (Jeffrey) McAfee, of Kingston, Ohio and Michael (Lois) Horsley, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Bobbie Jean Rericha, Michelle Johnson, Dreama Rooney, Melissa Horsley, Gerald "Dougie" Terry and Michael Horsley; 9 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Robert "Dick" Poole and special nieces Ruth Montgomery and Carolyn (Raymond) Poole. She was predeceased by 5 brothers and 6 sisters. A graveside service was held 3 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in Londonderry Cemetery with Adena Hospice Chaplain Bruce Hines officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME, Chillicothe, Ohio. The family would like to thank Adena Hospice for their care in our Mothers passing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests, memorial contributions be made to Adena Hospice, 111 W.
