My great grandfather was Edward John and his son Herbert emigrated to Canada where we, the rest of the family, live and in the USA as well. Edward John was the son of George and Elizabeth Condcliff. We have the Condcliff line back to around the 1100's in England. I am not sure though where the connection, if they be any, is with your branch.
