There's an old thing about finding an answer and opening up a new mystery. This is complicated. My major brickwall on my HORSLEY line is who the parents of Berry L. Horsley were. I have a sneaky suspicion that his father was a Levi Horsley, but no proof as yet. Anyway, my new mystery. I found Berry's son and my GGGrandfather, Joshua Theodore HORSLEY living with a John HORSLEY in the 1870 Crawford County, Kansas, census. Sometimes people moved around with family. I'm thinking John may be the uncle of Joshua and the younger brother of my Berry [ born in Kentucky in 1917 ]. Does anyone have any information on the following John HORSLEY? Information combined from 1860 Kansas, 1870 Kansas and 1900 Missouri census: John HORSLEY born in Kentucky in 1822 Matilda wife born ca. 1835 in maybe Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky William - 14 years in 1860 Isabella - 11?
