Ms. Horner was born in Spartanburg, a daughter of Eunice Chapman Mitchell, of Taylors and the late James Mitchell. She was loved by many and will be missed very much. Surviving are three daughters, Debbie Mitchell, of Cleveland, OH, Judy Hayes, of St. Louis, MO, and Brenda Browne, of St. Louis, MO; five grandchildren; one brother; and three sisters, Leon Mitchell, of Cold Springs, NY, Linda Mitchell, of Cold Springs, NY, Diane Yearly, of Lyman, and Elaine Atkinson, of Edwardsville, IL. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2004 at North Hills Community Church, 4952 Edwards Road, Taylors (864-609-5321). A fellowship will follow the service at the church.
