    3. Gloria: The possibility of Horner relations in MD might be off base, but you just never know. The Horner surname is as bad as Smith! You are right about the large families. I am aware of the Horner clan that was from Tadcaster, Eng., but I have never been able to make a direct connection, at least not one that I can prove at this point. It would sure help a lot if one only knew one/some of the siblings of John Horner. At one time another researcher said that there might be a connection to a Wm. Horner of MD., but again, no proof. Not sure if they connect to you or not, but hubby is a Horner, and came from a large family, and his father's was a large one also.
