Thanks to all who replied to my posting, I appreciate it. I have always been told by family this branch of Horner's were from Eng. I have no idea when they came to the US. This is what I have on my Horner branch in Ocean/Monmouth NJ. As you can see, I cannot get beyond John & Hannah, census records and death cert. give places of birth as NJ. USA. No first name for Hannah's father or mother. No death record to be found for John. John 1832-1902 mar.(New Egypt)Hannah Green 1857-1911 Children: Althea 1858-1858---John 1861-1945---George M. 1864-1947---Samuel 1867-1935--Mell 1872-1896(never married)---Ephriam 1863-1958---Ella 1876-1962 mar. Levi Southard---Hannah 1879-1967 mar. Joe Richardson---Carrie 1886-1961 mar. Alfred Horner. I have more on these folks, but it at least gives a general idea of the family. All were born in NJ except for George who was born in MD. Never did figure out what the family was doing in MD, made me wonder if there might have been family members of either John or Hannah located in that area. ________________________________ From: Neal Horner <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Fri, October 30, 2009 5:20:11 AM Subject: Re: [HORNER] Horner Lines There were many Horners in NJ.? ?
