Ed, I am inrigued by your surname. A very dear friend whom I started doing genealogy back in the early 70's grandfather was John Waymire who came over the Oregon trial and settled, if I remember correctly in the Dalles, OR. I am not sure where he was from, maybe OH. Does any of this sound familiar? I don't think she is doing much genealogy any more and I don't know how far back she has the Waymire's. but she is still alive and well. I am sure she would be delighted to hear from you if you see a connection. I remember a Clarrissa Albro, but don't remember if she was John's wife or not. Just an interested friend.
