    3. Good morning Tony I was pretty excited when I saw your email, though I know that I'm clutching at straws, as my husband's Horners were not in the exact locations you mention. 'Our' William Horner is said to have been born in County Down in the Loch Strangford area around 1750, and was converted to Methodism by Wesley himself. He later moved, or was moved by some church committee, to England, where I've been able to trace him and his descendants without too much bother. Does this ring any bells with you? Any assistance will be most gratefully received, and if my information is of any help to you, I'd be very happy to share it with you. 3. Hi Eunice, may I butt in and clutch at the other end of your straws? I have traced my GGGGrandfather, Joseph HORNER, Boatman, to Banbury, Oxfordshire in 1806. His wife was Eleanor or Elinor. I am not expecting anything from this, but it would be great if............ Best wishes Peter On 1/3/06 00:48, "Eunice Fletcher" <[email protected]> wrote: > Good morning Tony > > I was pretty excited when I saw your email, though I know that I'm clutching > at straws, as my husband's Horners were not in the exact locations you > mention. 3. Hi Eunice: My bunch apparantly had origins in Scotland and I don't think they saw Ireland until the middle of the 1800's , sorry I can't be of more help. Regards Tony.
