DOW HORNER DIES, RETIRED RESTAURANTEUR - Dow (Lorenzo) Horner, 80, of 16 Church St., died at 3:50 a.m. today at Shelby Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Born June 10, 1894, his entire life had been spent in Shelby. He had been owner-operator of Horner's Lunch from 1927 until 1964 at which time he retired. A member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Church, Horner was a charter member of the Shelby Country Club. Survivors include his wife, Agnes; a son, Thomas of Shelby; a brother, John of Largo, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Herman Dick of Shelby; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Church with the Rev. Fr. John Ollivier officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
