    3. Hi, I am facing one of those brick walls! Joseph HORNER was(is?) my GGGGrandfather. In 1806 he was living in Banbury, Oxfordshire with his wife Eleanor (Elinor). He was a boatman and I assume that he worked on the Oxford canal. I have been unable to find his Marriage or Birth details. It is possible that he migrated along the canal system (from Yorkshire?) Ring any bells? Peter Horner

    3. Dear Peter My husband's Horner forbears were Methodist clergymen, who worked as missionaries in the Carribean, and in the course of my reseach I found that here were Horners (not ours) there in the 1690s! So maybe yours were very early world travellers? 3. Dear Eunice, thanks for the reply. One day, our family trees may show a connection, no matter how remote.
