Hi, I'm tracing my family tree back through the Horner line. My grandmother was Mary Anna HORNER who was born April 05, 1873 in Newcastle-on-Tyne and moved out to New Zealand when she was just a few months old. Her parents were John Pearson HORNER born Oct. 29 1848 in Aldborough and died abt. 1917 in New Zealand and Agnes Elizabeth THOMPSON born abt 1851 in London and died abt 1897 in New Zealand. The whole family sailed on the Chile August 13, 1873 from Southampton. (I have the ticket). Parents of John Pearson HORNER were George Horner born abt. 1822 (don't know where) and Maria Pearson born abt. 1819 (don't know where). They were married May 02, 1843 at Aldborough Church.
