I am looking for information on the parents of Van E. HORNER, born about 1877. He married Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Matheny in Marion County, WV on March 24, 1897. He died in 1946 and is buried in the Masonic Cemetery in Shinnston, WV. They had 2 sons, Walter Russell HORNER (1898-1986), George HORNER (abt. 1901-?) and 2 daughters, "Margaret" Marguerite HORNER (Davis) (1902-1977) and Olive E. HORNER (McIntire) (1906-1994). Van and "Lizzie" are shown in the 1910 Marion County WV Census in Mannington District along with the 4 children. In the same Census there is a Levi and Margaret living in the same area, I am wondering if these could be the parents of Van. In the1920 census Van and Mary Homer (sic) are living in Clay District, Harrison County, WV along with daughter, Olive, and grandson Ernest Hall, age 4. The information about Van E. HORNER is quite important to me as he is my great grandfather. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. David Cartwright WV
